This is a musical meditation. Originally from Hawaii. This simple and profound meditation is meant to be directed to the one speaking it. So when I am chanting this, it is for me, when you are chanting it, it is for you.
We want to honor our inner guide, our highest self, the divine within. Forgive ourself for being involved in things that hurt and things of that nature. Love ourself for our divine essence. When we can completely feel peace chanting this for ourself, then we can direct it to others we wish to heal relations with.
